Are you prepared to keep your students safe?

Our team of criminal justice professionals, emergency management experts, and fire and medical personnel boast extensive industry expertise, multiple certifications, and continuing education to help your organization create and implement a fully encompassed emergency response plan.

  • All-Hazards Emergency Operations Plan

Our experts work directly with your administration and local public safety officials to create a custom Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) for your school district that is specific to your culture and unique environment. Our plan exceeds all the requirements set forth by the Michigan School Safety Task Force.

  • Emergency Management Guides

Our custom guides address the fifteen most likely incidents that may occur in your schools and how to manage them at the building level. These are for the administrative team to manage an incident at their respective schools providing information to the teachers, staff, and students.

  • In-Classroom Emergency Response Guides

Our custom in-classroom emergency response guides are designed specifically for teachers and staff. These are the simplified version of the Emergency Management Guides in which Teachers can act quickly to ensure proper steps are taken to assure the safety of the students. Our guides are also designed to be easily transportable in the event of an evacuation/re-unification.

  • Security Assessments

Our physical security assessments identify strengths and gaps within your buildings both internally and externally. Our team of experts also look at your policies, procedures, and trainings. These assessments provide the critical data to assist districts in obtaining funding and capital planning to address vulnerabilities and shortcomings to assure a safe and healthy learning environment.

  • Evacuation/Re-Unification Plans

Workin in conjunction with your local first responders, community partners and your administration, our team identifies locations that will shelter your students in the event of an evacuation. These locations must be strategically located and serve several functions compatible with local law enforcement and traffic flow patterns for parent dismissal.

  • Evacuation /Re-Unification Training

Our staff understands the importance of reality-based training, so we designed our evacuation/re-unification training in conjunction with a required lock-down exercise. This training is a vital part of an emergency preparedness program and highly supported by several law enforcement agencies. We work directly with your local law enforcement agency to ensure that your students, teachers, staff, and parents understand their respective roles and responsibilities during an evacuation.

  • Armed Assailant Training

Our staff of current law enforcement officers, public safety administrators, firefighters, and EMS professionals developed our proprietary Armed Assailant training in response to the unique cultures, characteristics, and demographics of our education customers. We have recognized that not all nationally recognized Armed Assailant programs work in individual settings, so we utilize components of each of these programs to customize a program that works for your specific district. Armed Assailant events are dynamic and ever changing so we designed our training to fill your staff’s “tool box” with solutions to situations that may present themselves in their school setting. We will work alongside your local law enforcement partners to assure your staff understands what to expect from law enforcement at your school during a catastrophic event.

  • Incident Command Training

The time that an actual emergency occurs in your school setting is NOT when you want to recognize shortcomings in your incident command center. Our tabletop training program provides your district with the foundation and necessary steps to manage an incident at your school while interacting with your external partners and first responders. We will design a reality-based scenario specific to your unique setting, then exercise to that plan identifying successes and shortcomings for improvement.
